Chasing Chickens
....and posting new videos!
Howdy Pardners! Your roving videographer/blogmaster extraordinaire James Workman here again with another exciting installment of "Howdy Pardner", everyone's favorite country music blog and now official sponsor of ObamaCare version 42! Because they are gonna pass it anyway.....so why fight it?
I took the wife downtown last Sunday to the Wheel, where Gary Gibson and the Chicken Chasers put on another great country music show! For you folks who haven't been, I recommend it highly! We were joined by Russell and Diane, our friends Brent and Chris Ronen, their daughter Brittany, some old faces from Rudi's Cafe, and world-famous songwriter Jerry Foster! A good time was had by all, and better music has never been heard.
I've also just posted another new video in the "Regular's" section....featuring none other than our very own Russell Workman (self-proclaimed "Best Male Vocalist In Nashville, TN!") and some of the Rudi's Regulars singing "Your Cheatin' Heart". So be sure to check that out, and let me know what you think...unless it's bad, then just keep your comments to yourselves, naysayers!
I don't know about the rest of youse, but here in Nashville, we are ready for spring-time. It looks like the worst of the snow is over, the sun is peeking out, and Cadbury Mini-Eggs are on sale. And along with spring-time, there are a bunch of great country music shows sprouting up everywhere. Jerry Foster is hosting a series of songwriter's nights all over town, Diane has some dates coming up, and of course Gary Gibson and The Chicken Chasers play their regular Sunday show at The Wheel downtown. I'll try to get a complete listing, and post it soon so there is no excuse for missing out on good ol' country music!
So, until next time.....I've been a long time leavin', but I'll be even longer paying for health-care!

Sure miss Gary and those Chicken Chasers!
Wow...reading this REALLY made me miss Nashville and Gary and the Chicken Chasers, and the new friends I made at Gary's Harvest Party. You were all so nice and I think of you often...I'm glad I can catch up with what everyone is doing by checking out this website!
I can't wait to get back down there and to see you all again! In the meantime, I'm keeping the good ole' traditional country music alive in Maine!
